The Draenei are from the same origin as the Eredar which is one of the major races of the Burning Legion. The Draenei represent the part of their race that was not transformed by shadow magic. They have decided to serve the Light.

The name Draenei means exiled ones in Erudean language, because they were chased out of their ancient homeland of Argus by Kil'Jaeden who is a great lord of the Eredar just like Archimonde.

Starting Zone: Azuremyst Isles situated off the northeastern coast of Kalimdor.
Available Classes: Warrior, Paladin, Hunter, Priest, Shaman, Mage
Racial Abilities: Shadow Resistance (+10 shadow resistance), Blessing of Naaru (heals 50 damage over 15 seconds), Heroic Presence (1% bonus added to chance to hit for party members, range 30 yards), Skill Bonus to Jewel Crafting (+15).
