Fire Resist is a big part of the end-game. Onyxia, BWL and MC require significant fire resist to even survive many of the encounters. Upwards of 100FR is recommended for both MC and BWL (though not throughout the instance). For a MUCH easier time against Ragnaros and other FR encounters, it is actually suggested that all Melee raid members have 200+ FR and all ranged (healers and ranged DPS) have at least 150FR - preferably getting these values UNBUFFED. Note: Pally Fire Resist Auras add 60FR but do not stack with Mark of the Wild/Gift of the Wild resistance. ---------------------------- Have heard several posts from members requesting and discussing Fire Resist gear. Had a bit of spare time so I put together a (rather large) list of some easy (and not so easy) FR gear to get. The list is nowhere near comprehensive (so many green boe "of fire resistance" pieces), but I think I have the majority of the crafted items, the items that drop regularly in instances (as well as rare drops). I, um, didn't include legendary items :P wah. Feel free to add to the list and I'll stuff them into the proper places!

***On a side note, I started doing green BoE fire resistance stuff... but it'll be much more worth your while to just search your AH for "Fire resistance" ... there is a ton of it and not really worth deliberately farming for.
