HUNTER SPELLS


Hunters are best when fighting from a distance and having a tamed beast to help them. That's why their spells are mainly for ranged combar and pet control. Hunters lack melee abilities.

  Beast Mastery (needs to be ported to the wiki!)
Spells in this category are designed to improve your control over your tamed beast and help you protect it. They are mostly abilities you cannot use if you have no pet summoned. Aspect of the Monkey - Increases the users dodge chance by 8%. Only one aspect may be active at any one time. Aspect of the Hawk - Increases ranged attack power significantly. Only one aspect may be active at any one time. Mend Pet - Heals your pet every second for 5 seconds. Damage healed depends on the ability level and you must be focused throughout the duration. Eagle Eye - Zooms the hunters vision for 1 minute. Only usable outside. Eyes of the Beast - Take control of your pet and see through their eyes for 1 minute. Scare Beast - Causes a beast to run in fear for a short amount of time, only one beast may be feared at a time and any damage caused to the beast may interrupt the effect. Aspect of the Cheetah - Causes the users run speed to be increased by 30%. If struck the user is dazed for 4 seconds. Only one aspect may be active at anyone time. Beast Lore - View the target beasts information such as health, resistances and diet. Aspect of the Beast - The user becomes untrackable. Aspect of the Pact - The user and his party members have a 30% increase to their run speed. Bestial Wrath - (talent) Your pet causes 50% more damage for 15 seconds. Aspect of the Wild - The user and their party gain increased nature resistance. Only 1 aspect may be active at any one time. Tranquilizing Shot - Attempts to remove 1 frenzied effect from the target creature.
  
  Marksmanship (needs to be ported to the wiki!)
Marksmanship spells are very important for your character because hunters are most effective at ranged combat. Serpent Sting - Causes damage over time. The amount of damage depends upon the ability level. Hunters can only use one sting per target at a time. Arcane Shot - Causes instant damage, whcih does not delay or interrupt the hunters default attack. Hunters Mark - When a target has been marked it takes additional ranged damage from all attackers. it also appears on the minimap and cannot stealth. Lasts for a medium amount of time. Concussive Shot - Slows the enemies speed dramatically for a short amount of time. Distracting Shot - Aggrivates the target, increasing the threat level of the target. Multi-shot - Causes damage to 3 different enemies. Aimed Shot - (talent) An extremely powerful attack that causes high damage and has an increased chance to critical hit the target. Scorpid Sting - Weakens the targets strength and agility for a medium amount of time. Hunters can only use one sting per target at a time. Rapid Fire - Increases ranged attack speed dramatically for a short amount of time. Scatter Shot - (talent) Causes 50% of your default weapon damage and confuses the enemy for a short amount of time. Any damage to the enemy may negate the effect. Flare - Reveals any invisible/stealthed enemies close to the user Lasts for a medium amount of time. Viper Sting - Drains mana over time. Hunters can only use one sting per target at a time. Trueshot Aura - (talent) Increases the ranged and melee damage causes by party members near the user. Has a very long duration. Volley - Hits all nearby enemies every second for a short amount of time. Each hit does reduced damage however.
  
  Survival (needs to be ported to the wiki!)
Well basically survival spells do one thing - help you survive longer. Survival spells include traps, abilities to track different types of creatures and several melee attacks which you probably won't be using too often. Counterattack - (talent) After parrying an opponent's ttack return damage and immobilize the target for 5 seconds. Deterrence - (talent) Increases your dodge and parry chance by 25% for 15 seconds. Disengage - Attempts to remove self from combat and turn off attack, reducing threat. Explosive Trap - A set trap that explodes when an enemy approaches, damaging enemies within 10 yards and dealing additional damage over time. Freezing Trap - Freezes the first enemy that approaches it, preventing it from action for 20 seconds or until damaged. Frost Trap - Creates an ice slick of a 10 yard radius around the trap when an enemy approaches it, slowing the movement speed of those inside to 40%. Immolation Trap - Causes fire damage over time to the first enemy to approach it. Feign Death - Feigns death, falling to the ground and visually reducing the health bar to 0, tricking enemies into no longer attack. Mongoose Bite - Counterattacks an enemy after a successful dodge. Raptor Strike = A strong melee attack with increased attack damage. Track Beasts - Tracks all beasts on the minimap Track Demons - Tracks all demons on the minimap Track Dragonkin - Tracks all dragons on the minimap Track Elementals - Tracks all elementals on the map Track Giants - Tracks all giants on the minimap Track Hidden - Inceases stealth detection and tracks all stealthed units on the minimap Track Humanoids - Tracks all humanoids on the minimap Track Undead - Tracks all undead on the minimap Wing Clip - Deals damage and reduces traget's movement speed. Wyvern Sting - (talent) A shot that puts the target to sleep for 12 seconds. Upon awaking they will be poisoned for 12 seconds. Only useable out of combat; damage wakes the target.
