Installing and using addons is very easy once you get familiar with doing it. Here is a step by step guide on how to install the CT_Mod addon. If you can do this, you can install any other addon. Not to mention you’ll need it in order to follow this guide easily.
    1. Go to the folder where you installed World of Warcraft. You can access your Hard Disk partitions (some people only have one partition C:\) from My Computer. Once you find the folder (could be something like D:\World of Warcraft), locate the Interface directory. There should be one inside. Open it and if there is no AddOns folder, create one by right-clicking anywhere within the Interface folder, selecting New >> Folder. Name it “Addons” or it won’t work. There should be one already anyway, so you don’t have to worry. I described how to do it just in case. 2. Now that you know where your Addons directory is, you are ready to get some of those useful tools. 3. Now go to CTMod.net and get the addon from there. I described which package you need at the beginning of this guide but it doesn’t matter that much. Any will do as long as it has the map addon in it. 4. It will most probably be archived, so use WinRar or a similar tool to extract it somewhere, doesn’t matter where as long as you can easily find it. If you have no program to extract the archive with get it from Rarlab.com. Right-click the archived file and click “Extract Here”. 5. Get the folders that you extracted, copy it or better yet use Cut (Ctrl + X) and then paste it in the Addons folder. 6. Open up WoW. If it was previously running close it and open it again, otherwise it won’t load the new addons. 7. Log in to your account. Select a realm if you haven’t done so. Now take a look at the left corner at the bottom. There should be a button called “Addons”. Make sure CT_Core and CT_Mapmod are enabled. To enable an addon you must check the box which is right beside it. Once you are done making changes click the Okay button. We need CT_Core for the entire package to work and CT_Mapmod is the one that shows the coordinates (your precise location in numbers) on the map. If you got the full package you will have some more addons. You might want to disable CT_Buffmod, CT_Bar and CT_Bottombar, you won’t need them for now and they will just take up extra space on your screen. They don’t look that pretty as well, so no reason to use them. There are plenty of other addons that will make your gaming experience pleasant and full of colors but those are not the ones you need ;) If you want leave CT_Buffmod enabled, I would disable it though. The client itself has sufficient tools when it comes to displaying buffs and debuffs currently cast on you.
