World of Warcraft: Cataclysm (often abbreviated as Cata), is the third expansion pack of Blizzard's MMORPG, World of Warcraft. In this expansion, the black dragon aspect Deathwing finally awakens from his slumber in Deepholm, the elemental plane of earth, after his crushing defeat from the other dragons. Deathwing erupts into the mortal realm, drastically damaging and changing the environment, effectively creating a second Cataclysm. Canyons flood, rivers dry up, and forests burn with molten lava. Azeroth is changed... Forever.
